Rushi children school and youth team holds Dragon Boat Festival 

When we were young, we could only eat zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival. Our family would prepare mugwort leaves in advance, make the zongzi by hand, and cook them personally. It was a grand ceremony filled with anticipation and memories.

Now that we have set out on our journeys far from home, we consider distant places our new homes. As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches again, the fragrance of mugwort brings strong thoughts of our hometown.

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, the Rushi Buddhist Youth Group and Rushi Children's School, in collaboration with the Australia-China Cultural Promotion Association and the Wuxian Chinese Sinology School, will jointly host the Dragon Boat Festival event 'The Fragrance of Mugwort Evokes Memories of Home, Zhulin Conveys Sinology.'

We aim to promote Buddhism and carry forward traditional Chinese culture. All devotees are sincerely invited to attend.
